Installing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors using online installer
The online installer allows you to download and install the current version of ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors for the supported Windows OS versions (starting from Windows 7).
The online installer also provides functions for updating, reparing the Desktop Editors, clearing settings, and removing the application from the system.

Installing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors in the silent mode
You can install the application in the background mode without the necessity to confirm each step.
Run the OnlineInstaller.exe file. The online installer window will open.
The Silent installation box is checked by default. Click the Install button.


The installer will download the necessary version of the application depending on the Windows version installed on your computer.


Once the download is completed, the installation process will be launched automatically.


When the installation is completed, leave the Launch app box checked if you want to run the installed application and click the Close button.


Installing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors using the wizard
Alternatively, you can install the application using the step-by-step wizard with the ability to view each step and modify some settings if necessary.
Run the OnlineInstaller.exe file. The online installer window will open.
Uncheck the Silent installation box and click the Install button.


The installer will download the necessary version of the application depending on the Windows version installed on your computer.


Once the download is completed, the installation wizard will start and guide you through the installation steps.
Updating, reparing and removing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors using the online installer
If the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors application is already installed, you can use the online installer to update, repair or uninstall the application.
Run the OnlineInstaller.exe file.


Check one of the necessary options:
- Update/Repair – install the current version of the application on top of the previous one.
You can also check the following options if necessary:- Clear cached data to clear the application data on disk:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ONLYOFFICE\DesktopEditors\data
- Clear user setting to clear the user settings in the registry:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ONLYOFFICE\DesktopEditors
- Clear cached data to clear the application data on disk:
- Uninstall – to remove the application from your computer.
You can also check the Clear user setting and cached data box if necessary.
Click the Apply button and wait while the selected operation is completed.
