<div class="raw-html-embed">	<p>The <b>YEAR</b> function is one of the <a href="../../docs/userguides/spreadsheet_editor/InsertFunction.aspx#datetime" onclick="onhyperlinkclick(this)">date and time functions</a>. It returns the year (a number from 1900 to 9999) of the date given in the numerical format (<em>MM/dd/yyyy</em> by default).</p>

	<p><b><em>YEAR(serial_number)</em></b></p>
	<p>The <b>YEAR</b> function has the following argument:</p>
